The University of Houston’s Sport Administration Master’s program provides an advanced and comprehensive degree plan designed to train students to be sport industry leaders in areas such as sport marketing, sports information, sport law, sports facility management and more. Courses are delivered both online and face-to-face with dedicated and experienced faculty who are involved in Houston’s thriving sports landscape. The flexible course offerings allow students to take courses at convenient times so they may have time to work and intern in the industry while earning their degree. Courses feature guest lectures from industry professionals and site-visits to local sports venues.

Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States (largest in Texas), and is poised to continue growing in size and opportunities. The campus is located in central Houston just minutes away from professional sports franchises, horse racing, motorsports, division-I college athletics, and countless concerts, marathons, and other races year-round. Plus, Houston has more parks than any other top-10 metropolitan area in the United States, and is located less than an hour away from the Gulf of Mexico. Houston is also home to world-class museums, restaurants, and less than 30 minutes from NASA’s Johnson Space Center.

The University of Houston is a Carnegie-designated Tier One Research University with over 40,000 students. The athletic program is part of the new American Athletic Conference in Division-I FBS. UH was also recently recognized as the second most diverse university in the United States.
